A Look Back as We Plan Ahead
The June Jubilee Committee is hard at work reviewing ideas and shaping the 2026 schedule. As we build out this year’s celebration, it’s helpful to look back at the traditions, favorites, and community moments that made last year such a success. Below is the beginning of the build of our events that we are planning for the 2026 June Jubilee lineup ... a snapshot of the energy, creativity, and hometown pride that continue to guide our planning for the year ahead.
FRIDAY, JUNE 12
7:30-10am - Town & Country Breakfast at The Depot. Sponsored by Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union. Freewill offering. Veterans and spouses free of charge.
9am-5pm - June Jubilee Arts & Marketplace at East BN Park. Over 45 vendors!
11am - Flag Raising Ceremony in BN Park. All are welcome! Sponsored by Schuller Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services and The Boondocks Cafe & Catering.
12-7pm - Food trucks featured along Aldrich Avenue. Stay tuned to see who will be included!
3-9:30pm - Beer and Spirits Garden at BN Park.
7-10pm - June Jubilee Outdoor Concert featuring Time Machine in BN Park. Tickets just $5. Enjoy a fun evening of music and getting together with friends to dance the night away!
SATURDAY, JUNE 14
FAMILY FUN AT SUNNYBROOK PARK NORTH | BURCH SHELTER

9am-10am - Joe Rousslang Youth Breakfast. $5 for adults, 15 and under free.
10am-11am - George Ditsworth Free Youth Fishing Derby. Open to kids ages 1 to 15. Bring your fishing poles and win prizes! Free frisbee from Invenergy/Purple Wind Energy to the first 200 kiddos!
BN PARK / DOWNTOWN WADENA
10am-4pm - June Jubilee Arts & Marketplace Vendor Show at East BN Park. Some vendors open after parade!
10am - June Jubilee Medallion Hunt begins! Watch for clues posted at The Depot’s front door.
12-9pm - Food trucks featured along Aldrich Avenue. Stay tuned to see who will be included!
1pm-10pm Beer and Spirits Garden at BN Park.
12pm-4pm - 4th annual June Jubilee Car Show at Wadena County Workforce Center parking lot and Aldrich Avenue. Vote for your favorite car! Sponsored by State Farm - Jolene Johannes, The BBQ Smokehouse and Culligan of Wadena.
1:30pm - Nickel Dig in West BN Park. Open to kids 5 and under. $100 in nickels donated by Wadena State Bank.
2-4pm - Kiddie Carnival at West BN Park. Outdoor games and goodies, face painting by Beth Kern, and more. Register for kiddie parade too. Many sponsors for this fun youth activity!
2-4pm - Hoot & Toot on Aldrich Ave. Visit with law enforcement, fire, ambulance, DNR, and National Guard vehicles and staff. Stickers, goodies and more!
1-5pm - Caricatures by Doug Curtis in BN Park. $5 per face.
5:45pm - June Jubilee Kiddie Parade! Line-up at Steve’s Alignment begins at 5:305pm with Nette Nelson, kiddie parade coordinator.
6pm - June Jubilee Grand Parade! Line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. behind M State. Pre-registration is required. Forms available at the Chamber, on this web page or by emailing director@wadenachamber.com. Free of charge.
8pm-10pm: - June Jubilee Outdoor Concert featuring Aaron Simmons in BN Park. Tickets just $10. Enjoy a fun evening of music and getting together with friends to dance the night away!
8pm (or after parade): - June Jubilee $10,000 Raffle drawing. What would you do with $10,000? Purchase a ticket for only $20 from Chamber board members, participating businesses, Cindy Hockert and Tina Bartels.
